Perfect empath.

"Views others as toys to be played with and discarded when bored"
What? Zero. I don't see people as toys to discard. That sounds awful. I would never say something like that.
Change that to...
"Enjoys playing around with people but only while it remains interesting"
Oh. Well I guess 2 then. Or maybe 4. If that's a part of my "core self" or whatever.
So does the action score me 4 on sadism or does the perspective score me zero because it's innocent fun?
The first statement is more relevant because it is basically asking if you think like a psychopath or not. Psychopaths do tend to view people as 'toys' to be used (and in many cases, abused).
If you view people you use and manipulate as 'toys' then you would score yourself a 2 or 4, depending how strongly the statement relates to your own views.
If you play with people jokingly in an innocent way, then you should score yourself a 0.
I tried to take the test but I didn't understand it.
The scoring system confused me because it seems to be entirely based on self perception.
Score 2 = I do this frequently.
Score 4 = I do this frequently and also consider this to be a core part of my self.
The only difference is whether you've internalized the behavior. Changing my 2's to 4's (accepting behavior as part of "my self") pushes one score from secondary to primary, and another from nonexistent to secondary.

Like the rest, this test is a complete and utter pile of horse shit, if you ask me.
Thinking like a psycho and acting out on those thoughts, is apples and oranges. I'm gonna hazard a guess here and say 100% of people are basing their answers on what goes on in there heads, as opposed to what they actually act out irl. And of course, your answers based on what goes on in your head, can and will change day to day depending on ones mood at the time of taking the test.
Are you really a primary sadist that tortures things? Or do you just have the thoughts? If so, your score would be ziltch.
I'm wondering what your answers would be based on what you actually act out, as opposed to the thoughts in your head.
