You said levels instead of layers. The word "level" tends to imply a difference in quality or quantity, the cake changes with every layer to you? That means it reminds you of something in life that requires effort or change. This is especially validated when you said "which fails to fill the worst in us".

 You can do much better than this.  Too focused on da outsides of da cake instead of inside me.  Says way more bout you.

Those things may be of relevance, but they did not come into consideration. "Feminine" is what came to mind immediately, so that is what I went with.

Wow, what a fascinating question!

What does this cake represent to me?

Well, at first glance, the eye-popping pink frosting catches my eye. The lurid vivacity of the color reminds me somewhat of the inner coating of the rectal orifice, ridged and rippled in a seductive manner. The inner layer of white cake engulfed by layers of frosting is reminiscent of a phallic symbol, fiercely penetrating the delicate pink skin. The twin flowers atop the cake add the perfect touch, resembling glistening drops of salty white, um, matter.

All in all, this cake appears to me as the epitome of butt... erm, beauty, that is. Such a lovely piece of confectionery, I could eat it right up!!
