Three levels of spongy sweetness which fails to fill the worst in us.
I guess (I draw lots of fandom art so anthropomorphizing things is routine for me) if I had to make it into something besides a slice of cake, I'd say it's a young girl (because of that shade of pink) with blonde pigtails (yellow cake) and pink overalls and a white shirt with a daisy on it. Bubbly and fun (because of the glitter) and probably sweet enough to make you sick (wayy too much frosting).
Idfk... My original comment was probably more telling, lol. Honestly, I just saw a glittery pink cake, until I read you saying we were doing it wrong and I saw that other people were imagining the cake as old ladies and shit. I don't normally go for super-sweet things like this but..... glitter.. I love glittery shit.
EDIT: Here, this is what the cake would be if it weren't a piece of cake.
The flowers definitely top off that impression for me. But if they were not there, I think I would still have had the same response. The combination of cake and pink icing comes off as very feminine to me, like the sort of thing that would be bought for a woman's birthday, or for a ladies' office party, or by a woman for herself at the store.
