That I breathe air and consume a variety creatures that used to be alive?
Of course I have reason to suspect that I'm a sociopath. I score higher on various tests than most people and there are also people irl who think I'm a sociopath. This I wouldn't say is because of my behavior (which is good) but because these people according to me themselves are sociopaths. But do they know more about me than I do myself? No, just like other people they assume things. The post was more about how I differ from a sociopath and how the criteria don't really fit me. What I believe though is that it's a spectrum were not all people display traits usually thought to be connected to the "condition".
Edited: No, I don't want to reveal this about myself. Perhaps all of the above is also false.
Yeah, but depends on what you gain. I myself do gain something in that people like me since I'm reasonably generous. Being unecessarily cheap is something people immediately dislike though. I also sometimes buy people things (like dinner) to compensate for something I have done. So I'm generous because it's normal social behavior, and also that it makes people like me. It can be questioned if there are such things as completely unselfish acts though? Either people do something because they want to do it, or because they're afraid of what will happen if they don't.
ok. dude i have to tell you that you're completely and utterly transparent. perhaps you are trying to fool people here into thinking you're some kind of threat or maybe you're practicing for others. either way, you're coming off like a slutty kitten that hides under the bed when anyone comes near it, and then meows softly until it gets some attention.
"Being unecessarily cheap is something people immediately dislike though."
Being "Practical" or "Cost Efficient" however is understood if not respected (especially if it's inventive). It's a matter of presentation and perspective, and it's why some "Life Hacks" are admired. If wealth is a primary characteristic to them, they are likely superficial anyway.
"I also sometimes buy people things (like dinner) to compensate for something I have done."
"Compensate"? "For something I have done"? You sound gullible if multiple people have you feeling like you need to repent for your own actions (either that or you do things that are that offensive often~).
"So I'm generous because it's normal social behavior"
Actually, at least in my experience, "normal social behavior" has been going dutch.
"and also that it makes people like me."
More like make people like your pockets.
"It can be questioned if there are such things as completely unselfish acts though?"
Pretty sure there aren't.
