Hardly, in my humble opinion low quality posts such as those above are better suited for the chat.

I think that I am possibly the least stressed person in existence. Once, I was on the streets for a week, and when I got back people asked me if I was scared, and I was like Nah. I guess it simply never occured to me to be nervous..

yeah well on average. psychological forces are probably greater than physical ones. whatever that difference is supposed to be. nobody likes to hear that because everything their mind and body is telling them says something different.

i don't pay too much attention to spiritual religions, but there was one crazy chant i remember some yoga instructor teaching once. 'master oh master, am i my own master' or something to that effect.

what do people consider psychopathy, someone with poor impulse control, well, what is consumerism culture all about, other than impulse buying.

we don't live in a need based society, we live in a want based society. i don't really see how that is different in regards to exploiting lack of impulse control. a sales person knows, if you don't get the contract signed, it's not going to happen later at the whim of the other person, right?

i don't have it down to a science. anyways, yeah there have been periods in my life where i felt that i had no control over my impulses, but i was told by someone in authority that it was all in my head, and that was enough to flip it all around.

here's one for you. can you imagine the room where tobacco lobbyists and government officials met? 'this stuff cannot be sold without a warning label because it causes cancer', and i can just imagine a ceo saying, 'put a label on it which says it's highly addicitive and call it more addictive than heroin and we have a deal'. people believe what they are told. 13+ years of schooling a life of institutionalism should be evidence enough that is what we are collectively on average.

mind over matter, that's probably the most famous way of saying things. then there are stories about mothers lifting cars that weigh half a ton or more at the corner wheel, lifting the car off their child who is trapped underneath it, right?

what do you think that bruce lee guys motto is? they break brick with their heads. seeing that enough of them fail to break the bricks sometimes, there is probably something worth believing in that, but you know, not for smashing bricks.

anyways, the jist of it is, besides whatever law breaking, or scientific proofs they suspect section off the populations into psychopaths and non-psychopaths, is that the majority including any of us that are aware, run on subconscious impulses quite often. then there are people who claim to be able to manually slow and speed up their hearts.

Always wondered why humans worry about having no milk,  getting to.work late, and their paychecks to the point of going crazy, yet they dont plan funerals until near the end, or some not even then

There is definitely some trickery goin on up in our minds...and we fool ourselves way more than we fool others
