Just had RT on television whilst in bed, plastic surgery has gone up by 25% because people want to look good on selfies. I shit you not. This is what I'm talking about, artificial people everywhere. People so mindlessly brainwashed by the tacit litany of mental framework imposed upon them by this sick and nefarious culture that they can't escape it, it's much harder to extricate yourself from mental slavery.
People find the task of introspection difficult, if not impossible. Determinism is more of a development than an absolute, almost everything in life is chosen for them subconsciously of their own will. You've got it. I like you. Don't get me wrong, I do agitate and really participate in creating revolutionary change as opposed to evolutionary change. I'm the founder of a Marxist group in my college, it has about 230 members so far. What's really interesting is how I managed to get so much support, how I managed to get people to give me power. Power doesn't exist in a vacuum, here, on earth, we have a population that bestows power upon a person it favours, a person who represent them and organises them, gives them a sense of fraternity. This really branches off into two things: The method by which you receive power and converting that sense of fraternity into a sense of solidarity, that is, channelling the whole power system into influencing external affairs. And by this, by expanding influence, you gain more power. You're heard, you become a force.
In Bradford, where I live, we have a giant Muslim population, One of the largest in Britain. At college there's a ton of Muslim students, and Overall people of Arabic backgrounds. So, we must ask, how can I manipulate that in accordance with the changes and values the movement represents? As Marxists, we are strictly opposed to imperialism. So we take up a pro Palestinian stance, one that was already existing but we decided to make it overtly known that it's our stance. This isn't a surprise, Marxists have stood in solidarity with the people of Palestine for a long time and every Marxist movement supports the cause of liberation of the Palestinians. This is where most of our members came from, we have a lot of Muslim and Arabic members, all from a working class background really interacting with the movement. In a place with a somewhat high crime rate, trying to get young people politically active is imperative. + Arabic communities in Britain tend to be very interconnected, everybody in these communities knows each other. These people are also the ones constantly marginalised, disparaged and vilified by the media, constantly barraged by shales of abuse. These people are very easy to agitate amongst, we've actually got some pretty older people to which we hope to start others groups within these communities. Our organisation plays a major role in the students union, which is a union built by students and holds the most influence and power, it is taken seriously. We could even end up putting one of our own guys as the head of the students union, that would be good move and would take our organisation to a whole new level.
I'm very politically active. Not only do I spend days and nights awake writing, reading and studying in the library, I engage in protests and demonstrations attend meetings and debates. The college group is internally connected, people will meet up on lunch brakes and discuss, or if we have free time we can meet and discuss everything from literature to Hegel. It operates after college as well, where people attend discussions and express opinions.
A lot of what i say on here doesn't really express my real views. I'm not this cold hearted guy, I'm largely just a reclusive loner who spends his time organising a workers revolution. Does the outside world get to me? Absolutely! I'm very interested in the study of ideology, when you say that social orders have always been constructed to maintain economic systems you're right. This is what I have been saying all along.
To clear up any misconceptions I'll lay out me, as a person, What I stand for.
I'm a communist, or even perhaps an anarcho-communist.
Communism has been largely misunderstood, it carries a negative connotation.
I stand for the means of production to be commonly owned, for a direct democracy and a proletariat dictatorship (workers control). I stand for the abolishment of wage slavery, to expropriate the private sector and to introduce the freedom necessary for intersubjective relations to develop. Free Education on all levels, free healthcare for all, no war but class war, and to allow men to voluntarily join free associations and cooperatives to collectively run industry. These associations would be subject to direct democracy, that is people vote on their policies and not some PR stunt.
There would be administrative functions in society, people would organise this under democratic centralism.
Every bit of criticism I've heard is not true. I'm being honest. If it was, I would change my opinion immediately. Everything from the history of communism to what communism actually is has been distorted by western media.
