Money, Power, Glory, the drivers of a sociopath?

Is it reasonable to make the assumption that all sociopaths crave money, power, and glory, or is that narcissists only?

Who doesn't want money & power? I don't think it's too far off base to assume they'd desire those things. Glory? That's more of a narc thing yeah, but I don't think they'd turn it down. Doubt they'd hold onto that 'glory' for long, however.

Idk all sociopaths.

The ones I've met seem to be driven by these things.

sociopaths, generally speaking can't keep jobs, so if they crave $ they aren't very good at acquiring it. i think petty scams is where they live.

narcs, well they rule the world cuz they are so unique

Not all sociopaths are the same. Different sociopaths have different desires.

Power is a definite desire for me. Money and glory not so much.

Glory is more of narcissism thing in my opinion.

I can see that. I think people use the disorder name as a way of explaining it to people. For example, I have almost every symptom of bipolar. When I say that, you can look it up and see what i mean. I use it as a way to sort of apologise about my behavior.

Of course not every thing I do is because of bipolar. But I do have every trait  of that illness.

"All"?

Starting to risk sounding like generalization.

I'm more prone to seeing who a person is and seeing if they're similar to a disorder as opposed to seeing a disorder and assuming that they must be a manifestation of it.

Instead of figuring what "they" want as a group, it's about seeing who they are as individuals to me and then comparing that to the templates to see how similar they are to it. People rarely fit into boxes unless you force them in there, but people also have more in common than not.

When people have disorders, they aren't necessarily the disorders themselves, they're their own brand of it at best.

You kidding me? Narcs throughout history have died for glory. In a way acquiring money and power could be seen as glory as well.
