Artorias was pretty cool. I always imagined what his armor looked like before he was swallowed by the abyss. I really liked Lautrec and Siegmeyer.

If they bore you then why play them? Do you just not want Whoameye to think you're in the same league as the people he deems unworthy of his social graces? It's ok, I doubt he judges you pookie. 

I don't see what makes him interesting. Other than the Midgar portion towards the beginning he's pretty straight forward, until the really weird "surprise twist" mindfuck portions anyway. Once they hit the world map the game sort of went downhill.

HK was like the mecha Kevin Costner.

I'm going to have to add another in, don't know why I forgot him and I'm certainly surprised no one has mentioned him.
