I feel like discussing something different today and something interesting caught my attention. So what from what I've been hearing and seeing from the internet is that movie "The Interview" (for those of you who haven't heard of it http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2788710/ ) was cancelled for release because the dictator of North Korea Kim Jung-un, basically started getting all bitchy about the movie. So it's release was cancelled. Some time later after Obama's last conference of the year, I found out that they're re-releasing the movie on Christmas day. I did some snooping and I found something interesting. Apparently Sony stated that originally when the movie was first being released they had only plans to release the movie to a few hundred indie theaters. Now that the movie is being re-released, they have plans to release the movie to "the largest possible audience".
Sony took some major financial damage this year as they have been for the past few years. They have been cutting divisions and outsourcing to save money, which is brilliant might I add.
I wouldn't be surprised if all of this propaganda is really an experiment to see what reward it can reap. This is just a guess.
From all that I only got 1 thing: Sony's taking a shot at North Korea. It's like Sony is attempting to force North Korea to acknowledge that Sony is still releasing the movie. But that's just my opinion. Now I have a few questions.
Sony decided to release the movie, when Sony was convinced it was not North Korea who cyber attacked them. The only one in the world who says North Korea did it, is the US government. The US has been saying it on day one, before investigations have been completed. For those who are smart enough, they'd know the US governments reaction is premature. The FBI is being questioned by other security experts, while linguistic analysis of communications suggests the attack on Sony most likely came out of Russia. The US will ignore this and continue to share their assumptions with the world, and the people will go with it. Just like what they did with Iraq and Afghanistan, and Panama, and how they got NATO to bomb Libya and kill Gaddafi. The US just speaks what they want people to think, then they go off and do it. And every time it's for some benefit that maintains their status.
Do you think movies like "The Interview" should even be allowed to be created (especially when it involves real world leaders names and to stretch it even farther, a movie about their assassination?)
By traditional American law, it is allowed, however it would be unfavorable if privileges were taken advantage of irresponsibly and millions ended up paying the price.
What's done is done. North Korea while being accused of this, has thrown in their 2 cents and so far the US cut off their internet. I think the world police in this case is being unconstitutional.
The US government also calls this the biggest cyber attack on an American business. Well, why did the American government NOT get involved when Sony got hacked a few years ago, and confidential information such as credit card information was stolen from Sony, by the millions, surely that is more damaging to Sony and their millions of PSN customers, than the last attack.
How do you think North Korea is gonna respond to this, or even if they already know, how do you think they're reacting right now?
Their first response was quiet.
After being accused their 2nd response was along the lines of "Though we are in favor of the attacks on Sony, we have nothing to do with it, we think we are being framed, and would be happy to work with the Americans to find the real hackers"
3rd Response, the American government created the interview.
4th response, After getting their internet cut off, N Korea said, Obama is like a monkey in a tropical forest.
I'm out of questions about the topic so here's a bonus unrelated one: Would you go see a movie on Christmas Day? ( I look at Christmas as sort of a chill day so I don't really ever leave the house)
Christmas, in the atheistic form is nothing special. That is presents, and gatherings with the same people you see all the time or can see whenever. In fact, the way people carry on during Christmas is how they were programmed to act. North Koreans have their programming too, but for the rest. They are told to be holly and jolly. They will stop at nothing to be merry at this time of year.
Still I participated for the children in my life, gave them what they wanted, ate dinner with them and family and friends, and in the process I got a copy of The Interview in HD.
When I got home on that "Christmas night", I watched it with a lady friend.
My opinion on the movie is that it's good for immature people. Too much swearing is unintelligent and uncool. I also found the movie to be predictable. Some of it was fun, but I don't think anything good can come out of bringing shame to someone like Kim Jong-un.
North Korea did launch a satellite into orbit, and they are a weaponized nuclear power. They are capable of hitting anywhere in the world if not deflected. At this point anyone can hit the US and North Korea will get blamed for it. Even the US can hit the US and blame them.
Let's not forget, many conspiracy theories of the past, are no longer theories but conspiracy fact. One modern theory is the NWO would like to depopulate, and implement RFID. One way to depopulate and maintain power, is nuclear war, and the US government is showing interest in N. Korea over rubbish.
