The funny thing about that neighbourhood, is that if you walked by the half way house at night, you could see the front lawn glowing with tons of laptops.

I have walked through a few neighborhoods of my own.

Yes, but did any of them have foot patrol in bullet proof vests wandering routinely?

I spent more time watching what was happening out my window than anything else, as it was that entertaining.

I did not know that. I knew someone who died years ago in a freak accident. He got hit once in the back of the head with a bottle and it was in the exact spot that he died instantly. Or so the story goes.

Well good for them. The last time someone told me they had accidentally killed someone in a bar fight, yeah I felt really bad for them, but I couldn't let them stay at my place any longer after that. You just can't admit to people that you are wanted by the law and expect them to harbor you indefinately.

There are some very good self defense classes where you can learn to kill someone with just one good hit.

It's called pressing your thumbs into thier eyeballs until thier brains smash in.

People typically don't do that because with most people fighting is all show and ego..

I remember you saying you are going to build a ar soon. Before you do check out the 300 blackout. It is a 5.56 casing cut down with a 7.62 30 cal bullet. It reminds me of a short 45-70. Little to no neck. All you need to swap out is the barrel. So if you wanted  to you could build a 5.56 upper and a 300 blackout upper and swap out whenever you wanted to change caliber.

What are you going to run for irons? I would recommend the Matech Buis. I like them better than the A2 irons and the magpuls. Plus I think they are standard issue on the Marine corps M4's. I have built a few AR's if you have any questions ask me. I have also done a lot with long range precision and hunting rifles. If you ever want to build a sniper rifle.

We haven't touched th M40A3's but now they are using M40A5's.

I've worked with reflex sights, RCO and SDO(squad day optic).

As for 7.62 we haven't shot it at all.

I used to want this a career and do 20 years, but I think once I get what I wanted out the Corps(deployment) i'll be fine heading out.
