Ha! I am no pioneer with this line of thinking!

Apparently biology professors have been doing the same since 2009!

http://message.snopes.com/showthread.php?t=27875

This is a claim apparently being proferred by one or more bilogy professors on campus; it's been brought up in various situations by a couple of biology majors/minors in my classes. According to this theory, trace deposits of aluminum "get into" the fluid in aluminum cans, enter the human body, and accumulate in the brain, where they facillitate alzheimer's disease.

What's the scoop on this?

I cannot wait for the moment when people discover where the earths water came from, and they see my post at the top of Google with a date and timestamp! I will be remembered as a GENIUS!!!

A reminder for all you plebs!

Where did all the earths water come from?

Yes. The irony of the matter makes it that much more sweet!

What am I going to do with such information? Write a book? Turn a profit? No way... it's the truth and it's hilarious!!

Fuk wooster, in my area it's been full haze over for two days straight. +80% humidity, and not a drop of rain...

You understand that Global Warming is a HUGE fukin farce, a total embarrassment to everyone. Pollution is the ONLY thing that matters!

Venus is not an Earth like planet that was once lush and green as the Earth. It is NOT an example of Global Warming run wild. It is a proto-earth, in it's early stages of development. It has lightning that rocks it's skies everyday. It is covered in volcanoes. Exactly what you'd expect the early Earth to be.

Mars is not some young Earth. It is a DEAD earth, one that may have been lush as the Earth is today. Common sense. You need to start looking at things with various perspectives. Stop following the herd as a blind cow does, and honestly, look out your window and study the weather and watch how it happens. Use your senses.

For sure though, the Earth and it's volcanism, could be a sure sign that we are the next Venus. It was no comet that destroyed the Dinosaurs.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deccan_Traps

(that's what got the Dinosaurs)

It is not the comets that cause oceanic anoxic events.

Don't get me started on the Asteroid belt. That for sure as hell is not a simple problem to accretion theory. It is the smoking gun that blows it to smithereens.

After all Wooster... it's only recently that Mars and it's volcanoes have been downgraded from the largest in the solar system. Now Earth is contending for champion.

There are more underwater than anywhere else.

Oh, and BTW wooster, that thread about artifical cranial deformation. That practice goes back millenniums.

Flat Head Baby Syndrome is as real to a babies learning skills as deformation to the elite royal classes is to different intelligence. Spiritual, retarded or whatever you will. They had different brains and they knew it. That's why they practiced it.

"Reduced testosterone tied to endocrine-disrupting chemical exposure" (August 14, 2014)

"Animal and cellular studies have found that some phthalates block the effects of testosterone on the body's organs and tissues. Researchers set out to examine whether these chemicals, which are widely used in flexible PVC plastics and personal care products, had a similar effect in humans."

"Researchers found an inverse relationship between phthalate exposure and testosterone levels at various life stages. In women ages 40-60, for example, increased phthalate concentrations were associated with a 10.8 to 24 percent decline in testosterone levels. Among boys ages 6-12, increased concentrations of metabolites of a phthalate called di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, or DEHP, was linked to a 24 to 34.1 percent drop in testosterone levels."

"Plastic bottles leach chemicals into water: study" (December 21, 2006)

"The longer water is stored in plastic bottles, the higher the concentration of a potentially harmful chemical, a new study suggests.

The research, by a Canadian scientist now working in Germany, involved 132 brands of bottled water from 28 countries produced in containers made from polyethylene terephthalate, or PET. About 20 brands came from Canada.

In a paper to be published early next year, William Shotyk of the University of Heidelberg found that the concentration of certain chemicals, such as antimony, increases the longer the water sits in the plastic bottle. Shotyk's study measured concentrations for a period of up to six months.

'It's increasing over time because [the plastic] is leaching chemicals,' said Shotyk in an interview during a recent visit to Ottawa, where he lectured on his findings."

Yeah, that's fairly interesting.

Can you believe a few weeks ago I bought what was advertised as the purest form of water from a big box store? 50 cents a gallon, and I thought, damn that's cheap. Reverse Osmosis or something.

So they screwed me and charged me 3.00 for the bottle to carry the water in. Re-usable, sure... but I get home and taste the water and it tastes 100% like the plastic container that I brought the water home in.

Tbh, I haven't figured out testosterone a whole lot yet.

I mean it isn't as straightforward as one would think. I've read that too much testosterone leads to premature balding, and hair in awkward places, and too little testosterone, honestly I have no idea what that does.

I have a full head of hair and have recently done a regime of raspberry keytones which someone warned would effect my testosterone but my sexual drive has been through the roof by comparison to the last few years, and the hair on my body has ceased growing back. Normally I wax/sugar (hey I'm italian), but this time it seems as if it is growing back substantially less, or at the very least, much much slower than it has taken in the past. I dunno...

I tried looking up raspberry ketones and testosterone, and found nothing...

An idea of what testosterone is and does, I think, orbits around these studies:

This next one goes pretty deep down the rabbit hole, I believe it's one of the most paradigm shifting theories we currently have in neuroscience:

The 2D:4D research is fascinating; there are correlations with IQ, health, mental illness, brain lateralization, mate selection & sexuality, face morphology...it really goes on.

Really? Because that's what some guy on reddit told me. I absolutely believed everything he had to say about it.

I believe the terminology you may be looking for is androgen.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Androgen

I am not really an expert on testosterone, however I have a bottle of tribilus which is supposed to boost testosterone. It's been sitting on my shelf for years now as I don't like the stuff. I pissed blood and felt extreme pain in one of my testicles one day, I attribute it to the Tribulus.

Yes, androgen seems more fitting.
