When we know and done everything ( we as in all of us, as one ) we tend to get bored, so we erase our knowledge only to explore what's there. It has been said "It's not the destination, but the journey". The consciousness is 1 as there is only 1 consciousness. What we are doing here is experiencing duality. Individualism. I've come to adopt the belief that what divides us, is the nervous system, our physical bodies. The illusion of self.
By intuition we already know our environment, from the experiences and people we meet, shapes us. Had we so much as been raised in another part of the world, we would have different perspectives, taste and inspiration, yet the same consciousness. In turn, we also shape our environment, as those before us did.
Our purpose is to make something of ourselves, everything we do here becomes a part of us spiritually. For us to progress in our blind state of being is of great value to our soul's evolution. For us to return to source with little to no aid in what we should and shouldn't invest ourselves in, is what grants the soul's evolution an even greater status.
When we go home, maybe things will be interesting, and in the vast timelessness of eternity, we may return to realizing how interesting it is/was to have experiences individuality.
When asked what is my reason for being here, my short answer would be, "for the sake of self creation." Life is after all about learning, transformation and becoming something for better or worse. Choice is present, and because we are one, there are positives and negatives for what we do, I do believe we will answer and pay for what we've done to others, and when we find our actions to be a cancer to our best interests, those attributes will be dealt with. Maybe erased, too much negatives, and the jury, the self, will wash away what is deemed despicable, and what is deemed positive will remain. For us to be imbalanced to a point where negatives outweigh the positive, the souls status will have very little on it's plate in a place where there are no secrets.
Even if your life is miserable, and seemingly meaningless, spiritually there is a good cause that adds to your growth somewhere in there. Those who endure hardships I think will potentially be rewarded the most, granted they are understood and come to understand themselves when it's time to review what has been done.
