Hmmmnnn... maybe he is a narc. Well to be honest turncoat. Since I arrived at this forum, I've noticed a couple passive aggressive strategies aimed at me. All I can suggest is that there is a narc or two hanging around here.
Not your average narcissist, but rather one that is in a lot of pain. It's mildly irritating to me, and I can go invisible at any point in time, but really, it's not that irritating, and they seem to think they have the power to do me genuine harm.
I've met two hardcore narcs in my life. Both of them did whatever they could to hurt me. They go above and beyond and neither of them were in the end able to come out on top. They are sort of spastic kamikaze type people. You know the types. The ones where wives need restraining orders, and everyone on the city block knows about them sort of thing. In a pitiful way, rather than a notorious way that they project to others as who they supposedly genuinely are.
So in other words, society does these people the most harm by giving them pity and re-enforcing the delusions and self hate they feel towards themselves. I don't know, I am not a psychologist, what do you think?
I mean the answer to fix ASPD's are easy. Allow them creative outlets and give them some breadth from institutional structures. Let them fall.
With NPD's it's something else entirely as they are constantly in "me", "me", "me", mode...
