Yeah, I think there is a market for that and people are trying to fill it with home reverse osmosis systems.

Me personally, I think Ozonated water tastes significantly better than normal water. Plus it makes me feel better knowing I am not taking in unnecessary amounts of fluoride.

Was out in the country side a few days ago, and saw a sign, "No Water Tower", so it's safe to say that many rural areas have old water systems that are extremely out of date.

I'd imagine if companies came up with a new type of pipe, similar to what they have done with communications and fibre optics, and updated the technologies of the water supplies in towns, everything would be perfect. A pipe that does not contaminate the water with copper, lead, plastic pcbs, or whatever. However, that is probably never going to happen.

If it helps, over the summer, I heard of a city not far from me, which is very recent development in terms of suburban houses, and the school in thier area tested too high for lead content in the water supply.

So, that goes to show how bad the water is everywhere.

The negative with bottled water is the plastic leaches PCB's into the water. You can sort of taste the plastic if you really try. That's why I buy the big huge jugs of water. Less plastic surface area to worry about.

Really, I don't know if PCB's a re genuine issue, but being able to taste the plastic is enough for me...

See... once again, out of the thousands of toxic chemicals we ingest daily, there is an "acceptable" level...

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20871976

love to see someone take all the acceptable levels of all toxic chemicals in the food/water supply chain, and inject them straight into a test group for a year solid...

You know... like 30 days, and that mac donalds diet movie.
