It inferiates me that I can't achieve this. I just turned 27 and I'm just bored with everything and everyone...

I actually came to this site to see how everyone else handles it and deals with their disorder. How do you cope with it?

I read your post, sounds more like Asperger Syndrome than Sociopathy.

Tom -- There is nothing to cope with.  I don't understand your question.

His problem is more about interpersonal interaction that psychopathy.

Well the lack of empathy part is pretty spot on but everything else is off. Growing up i was highly intelligent but stayed on the same field as everyone else as not to draw too much attention to myself I learned things much quicker than my other siblings and even in class my teacher would have me read for certain students when she would call on them. I loved the attention I got from it because it was as if I was better than them...haha and I was.

Anyway some of the characteristics of Asperger’s is  not liking changing routines, for me I change jobs almost every two years…and I’m very selective in what jobs I select to be sure they can help me in the long run. I even tell that to my interviewer when they ask me why I choose that job, and I tell them that. If I ever wanted to work at a place like McDonald’s it would because I’m trying to land a job at a restaurant which requires experience in the food industry. I love changing my routines! I love it because it forces me to always be sharp just in-case I do have to make a sudden change! When you don’t change your routines you get into a comfort zone, and it’s often those comfort zones that are very dangerous because they inhibit personal growth.

“Be unable to recognize subtle differences in speech tone, pitch, and accent that alter the meaning of others” WAY off for me haha…I’m notorious for recognizing accents and love opera as well as every other category of music.

Yeah it’s not Asperger’s,  I have no trouble at all communicating with people… hell my major’s is Business Admin and my minor is Project Management. IDK…I’m not depressed…

Haha I don’t even want to get into my incriminating mind!

So what's with your pic? Are you into S&M or something?

i like the idea of perfecting humanity and the sociopath, the "perfect human", however anything that involves the phrase "perfect human" to me seems to be a nod at hitler's little quest to perfect the "superior aryan race"

and would you be talking about individual honing of the sociopathic attributes, or genetic?

also virus, i dig the bela lugosi avatar

You're right, it does have a bit of a connection to that megalomaniac. I in no way advocate the methods of hitler but who is to say that humanity through certain means cannot evolve itself? And I am not talking about a genocide, I consider it more of a personal development type thing. Like a self-help type thing. ;)
