if youre the type of parent who would then you should ask him about the material. i personally dislike wool quite a bit and in my lifetime i have not seen one boy my age (18 now and i have been attending fancy events for as long as i can remember) wearing it either.

i live in a hot place so it could just be a geographic perk of mine but throwing all this out there for you seemed best lol

dont listen to any advice on colors until we basically know what he looks like

I think the equestrian tie and perhaps riding boots and chaps are the look we will go for. LOL

A job interview? Keep it classic. Boring, even. Basic navy or charcoal. Black is for funerals. Tweed is for movie detectives. :P

Better to fade into the background than to appear overdressed. I'm assuming he's going for a corporate bean counter position, not some arty film gig, right?

The grey in the middle works on fair "winter" complexions. Browns and greens are better on swarthy or ginger "autumn" or "summer" types.

Also, if you keep it classic and go for middle-of-the-road names like Calvin Klein, rather than going after some hoity toity overpriced shock-value couture crap, you're more likely to find your suit at a store like Winners for dirt cheap.

I like the one in the middle, maybe with a splash of colour for a tie or shirt. Burgundy and cobalt blue look nice with that shade of grey.
