How did you fuck up a car on a tropical beach? Did you drive in the ocean?

If you ever find yourself in Alaska again check out the small abandoned mining town of Kennecott

"I have a $4,000 budget. I want to go somewhere warm this winter. I have never been to the ocean. Any suggestions?"

Save yourself spending that $4000 and just walk there. Once you're up to your ankles in water, just keep walking. You'll know you're close when the riptide becomes your taxi.

As budget friendly as that idea is. I will have to pass. Thanks anyways. lol

Chernobyl is a personal heaven of mine.

Walking out into a city empty of people but full of surprises. Going out there with nothing but the gear in my pack and a rifle, being self sufficient, conserving and rationing out food. Looking for clean water, a place to sleep while avoiding dangerous wildlife. Chernobyl has wild dog packs that have been spotted over 16 strong. Bears frequent the area, life would never become boring there's always something that needs done. But, the best taste of Chernobyl is the eerie silence of it all, no noise, no people, just me left to my thoughts. These pictures strike me in particular:

1    2    3    4

It would be an awesome test of my skills and abilities.

I have read that the wildlife and plantlife on and around Chernobyl have went through genetic changes due to the radiation. That alone interests me to see.

 Will do.

I was in my teens the last two times I have been to Alaska. I went with my father on a business trip. He never had the chance to go sight seeing. It would have been neat to have made it to the coast.

Fuck Chernobyl, with that money you can go in so many awesome places. See if you can find good offers for Costa Rica or the French Polynesia.

I haven't looked into airfare prices yet. I was planing to stay in the states because of the fact airfare would eat up most of my funds. I suppose I should check into flying. Maybe it's not as pricey as I thought.

This makes me wish I had backpacked thru Europe all those years ago.

I know, just photoshop me into a picture on a beach bellydancing and getting acupuncture while wearing blue and reading "eat pray man woman" while drinking a chocolate margarita in a rainbow striped bathing suit.
