I have a $4,000 budget. I want to go somewhere warm this winter. I have never been to the ocean. Any suggestions ?

Río de Janeiro? It gets really hot in South America when it's summer there.

Maybe go to the Polynesia. Islands on the ocean.

Oddly, I think it would be cool to go to Chernobyl too. I saw a video and it looks super creepy. Abandoned homes - tables set for dinner, 20 some years ago as if the residents will soon be home, children's dolls lying on the floor, mid-play, family photos hanging on walls - lives stuck in time. Love that.

I  would have a ton if you weren't running away from cold weather.

I want a hunting trip in Alaska, a tour of Chernobyl and possibly sit down and have a drink in Moscow.

I hear the beaches in Somalia are one of a kind. Pristine, white sand beaches, gorgeous blue ocean surrounded by thick lush tropics. And, it is super cheap. It might be a bit pricey for the flight but with $4,000 you could stay for a VERY long time.

Chernobyl!

It'd be fun to go alone, no tour guides!

They have tours, where you can pay to have a guide take you up too 500 meters away from the reactor.

But where's the fun in having a guide?
