so you're obessed with her?

Every person is different, even every sociopath. It is hard enough to discern the motivation of "normal" people, so now we get the delightful paradox of trusting lying, conceited anti-social (even if they admit it) people to honor their side of the bargain? My suspicion is that Lund is trying to set up her own advocacy as a liferaft after the fallout of any exposure is made and consequences have her in need of a new job. She may more ably succeed after such an exposure, since she can play on the sympathy of one side (empaths) and the other side undoubtedly could use the opportunity to arbitrate suspicions of their behavior. Are they ever going to find a perfect "middle man" for this to work? Traits of either side immediately bias the advocate, doesn't it. We would need a lot more clarity of this idea to get anyone on board.
Thank you; yours is the only post which answered the question, and very aptly, I might add.
by GypsyIt's difficult to notice any change in tone because so many of her posts are recycled. I thought the whole point in the book was supposed to be promoting understanding (and I guess to make money and publicity of course).
Do you have any links to this talk radio show?
I will try and post a few links later on. One of the talk radio videos had her making comparisons with Aspberger syndrome, which I at least found telling, as there has been ample advocacy and sympathy (and admiration) for this class of people. I don't know how many of them or their advocates would like to be linked with sociopaths.
I would imagine she would lean towards advocating restraint and normalcy for the reason that she has been "outed". This would, logically, be her attempt to reduce the complications as a result of her identity being revealed. In her book she reveals certain thoughts and ideas that people, I imagine, would find distasteful per se. With her identity revealed there will be undoubtedly issues with colleagues and students and people in her daily life. Advocating restraint and normalcy are factors that are likely to be in her favour should she need to argue as such.
