Quiet little piggy.
by HigurashiThis random thought just popped into my mind. Can a sociopath think he's an empath or that he has emotions? I mean, for example, that he doesn't know for sure that he's a sociopath but while being brought up he was told about various emotions that people have and got deluded in the process? That would be confusing for him/her I bet. Thinking that he has emotions while being confused by the lack of them inside. Just a random thought. Feel free to post your opinions. :)
Yeah, ignoring the "sociopaths have no feelings" mistake... I'm sure most sociopaths think they're "normal"/"like everyone else". They don't consider themselves "sociopaths", I doubt a lot of them are even aware wtf that or empath means. They aren't very introspective, your average psychopath doesn't read psychology books...
What about that doctor who "found out" he was a socio from a brain scan? He had thought he was normal until then, right? THought he was leading a normal life and everything. He was even studying psychopaths for fuck's sake, and he was surprised to find out he was one...

Except, he'd been seeing a therapist before that for other problems.
No, he knew therapists, but he never said he seen one about any problems he had. But he was surprised to find out he was a psychopath. But he also said during an interview that his conversation was a game of sorts. Maybe his "shock" was part of the game he plays? Or maybe not. Just a fun thought.

Actually, he was diagnosed with OCD and Depression
Most of the conditions and symptoms I displayed are familiar to any
family. At two I began a lifetime of chronic asthma, full blown
obsessive compulsive disorder starting around puberty, years of
scrupulous hyper-religiosity and hints of endogenous depression.
