we had it set so that anyone inside me's blog who clicks on any forum link will auto open a new page in their browser directed to our website. i suspect this is what caused ME to remove us, but i can't be sure.   she removes the entire forum section from her site, so perhaps it's not even our fault

Interesting... Any theory why ME removed you as admin from the old nabble forum at around the same time?

 Since most of the users that frequent this site have read about M.E and her book

 Not me.   Some newbie on PF made a thread once about M. E. so i googled it but pretty much stopped reading the entry after the word 'mormon'. She strikes me as one of those identikit middle-american baboons who think they are special, 'evolved' and badass cuz they can spell 'definitely' correctly and  skip sunday church every once in a while.
