That was a good move on M.E.'s part. It's not like anyone discusses the book here. 

 I'll make a bet on it being due to the childish Dex-flood making this place look like it is overrun by tweens.

I think it was beneficial to both parties. Since most of the users that frequent this site have read about M.E and her book, and disagree on many aspect of what she has to say, I think most would agree being associated with that blog alone wasn't helpful for either party and their objectives.

Needless to say, not many noticed nor cared that sociopath-community and sociopath-world are no longer one in the same. The parting of ways was healthy enough.

only the most pure or most insane care about a forum full of crazy people

we had it set so that anyone inside me's blog who clicks on any forum link will auto open a new page in their browser directed to our website. i suspect this is what caused ME to remove us, but i can't be sure.   she removes the entire forum section from her site, so perhaps it's not even our fault
