As for your question, I have no real way of knowing. If he intentionally killed himself I can only imagine it was over some reason other than depression.
Never thought it would be that guy to go this way. Even in his movies I'm still convinced his laughter is real. Just maybe his death might have been set up. Who knows.
Most comedy people tend to be depressed, and his more serious roles were convincing and, at times, rather dark.
The death by asphyxiation just makes me think of a movie he was in, World's Greatest Dad.
He was bound to die before natural causes could be the culprit, I mostly questioned how long it'd take. The man was a tortured one. I'm just glad that we got as much out of him as we did.
Jeez, don't have to make your skepticism so snarky. It's a shame that he's gone and I am not disagreeing with that, it's simply that it wasn't really something so unpredictable.
For a more concrete example, he had an on-off history with drugs, notably alcohol and cocaine, and it really wasn't a secret. He was in Rehab shortly before his demise so it's clear that he still had some level of struggle he was facing. It clearly gave him difficulty.
For a less concrete bit, I mean, look at him. When not altered or playing a comedy role he often looks so weary, so tired. Even with success, he didn't exactly appear to become better, I think he instead more strongly desired to escape, and as he grew older he just appeared more and more tired. It was his sad roles that, to me at least, felt the most natural and immersive, while his bombastic escapades from earlier films seemed more like an act.
Yes. The OP's speculation about murder is absurd.
If the media are hiding anything to preserve Mr. Williams' reputation, the worst I could guess at might be an overdose or freaky sex act. But even that would be some extreme--not to mention excessively rude--speculation.
He was sick (bipolar if I remember correctly) and he tragically lost his fight with his illness.
Why would the OP even consider murder?
SRSLY? Who could have killed him? His wife? This skinny thing could overpower even an older man as burly as RW and strangle him to death?
Not unless he was poisoned first. The official reports didn't mention anything that even remotely resembled poisoning. The cause of death was asphyxiation, not overdose. Sounds like self srangulation/ hanging.
Edit: assuming that this is a reliable source, he definitely hanged himself. It's even less likely that she would have been able to overpower him and then string him up.

illuminati controls the world every celebrity only becomes famous with the approval of the douche bags who puppeteer the world and celebrities sometimes refuse to do what the puppeteers tell them to do.. so they get proffesional hitmans coming after them which know exactly how to fake a drug over dose or random other kind of suicide based on any mental illness or substance problem the celebrity had
they collect data on people and will bring up any drug or alcohol or mental illness the actor or singer who ever had and make a cover story out of it for the public
and the only thing to note is the celebrities all die when none of their trust worthy friends or family are around..
