i think he really wants you to suck it.

is it only on the forum you are relentlessly pursued by gay men, or does this spill into your real life as well?

Do you see men flirting with other men all the time in real life as well?

I'd lie if I said I never get this sort of attention from men, it's happened before. Still, women seem to be a lot more interested. :D

When I click on the quote me button it should automatically open up a reply box with the quote in it, but you don't seem to have it set up like that because I always have to click on the reply generally button as well to get the reply box to show. That just seems silly to me.

I always have problems trying to separate multiple quotes as well, so that I can reply to quoted statements individually in the same reply box.

it also makes this forum truly unique.  i mean... tell me this. what is professional to you? it's functionality. it's the ability to achieve the goal of this forum.

my goal for this forum is to facilitate relationships, and grow the community. i like this community. it is a place where people are free to be themselves, and for the most part, they have no shame in it. you would think that without a moderator, this comunity would be so bad, but instead, without some jerks in charge of everything, for the most part, we unite as a community. each of us has equal say, and we are able to speak for ourselves. it's a good system. we are unique and successful in a way that most other forums don't aim for.

tom, just becsaue our theme is dark doesn't make it moody. darkness is the absense of light. i think it's a good reflection of sociopaths who lack emotion. the might be considered dark of emotion, no?

bright pretty colors are for people who want to feel something. when my room is all dark, and nothing but my computer screen is on, i'd rather have a cool warm dark forum than a huge white light staring me in teh face.

So for a forum designed to target people who have a lack of emotion you think that black is the best choice? Black…which is depressing and symbolic to death and grievance? Personally speaking if I was an investor I’d look for uniqueness in my potential web designer’s projects. The only unique aspect of this forum is that it’s linked to M.E’s page. This forum doesn’t standout and it should. Now granted it’s only been up for 4 months but I would hope to see some originality and passion in your future works as opposed to this, which is something I could have coughed up on MS Paint.

What is professional to me? Did you even look at the link? Well here it is again:

Those look professional to me. And no one (lie) is complaining about the functionality of the forum. Your second paragraph was completely irrelevant to our conversation. I’m simply talking about the layout.

Personally, I like the black and grey. It looks professional. My only issue here is the quote function, which I personally think sucks and needs to be fixed so we can multi-quote easier.

It looks professional.

Are you mad? Black and grey is not professional...the design layout is extremely simplistic.

I really have no idea how you can say this site looks like it was made by a teen. It's neat and organized and well-presented. It's a forum designed for sociopaths and those interested in them. It doesn't need to be colorful.

Teenagers like all that colorful crap.

I like how the forum looks like. I just can't imagine a forum for sociopaths with different colors or a 'shabby chic' style. Hahahaha, that would be absurd.

Thanks everyone for the various critiques and support. We learn from them.

This incarnation of the Sociopath World forum is now 4 months old and has already undergone one minor aesthetical redesign (primarily for forms and the index of topics). I personally like the forum's looks as well, despite the missed opportunities to be more professional-looking.

Kill Thrill, I'm not sure what problems you are having with multi-quote, could you please clarify?
