Just figured out upon first trial that I'm not a sucker for Jenever. Tastes quite a bit like grappa or torque pálinka (not a fan of either) - however, i'm sensing a bit of that "acquired" part of the taste in retrospect so never say never. 1 liter of the 48% stuff + 70cl of the regular in the Armageddon cupboard, still good for emergencies shall the taste not get acquired.
Back to the original topic, Brugse Zot (Bruggeian Fool) is still the best beer known to mankind, give or take the offerings of the Czech. So good that i couldn't even bother with sampling the legion of monastic ales. Had they have it on tap in the hereafter I'm willing to straighten my old ways.
