Nonsense is spewed on almost every website that hosts a blog or a chat area. This site in particular has always been, to some extent, a venting place for both morons, and people who actually contribute and gain something from it.
Sadly, no, it doesnt hold a candle to the old site ....in content OR in membership.

Yet you, yourself frequent the place , and obviously get something from perusing the posts that actually have substance ,yes?

 To your first point, I agree completely, but the degree of asshattery here is on a whole other level. There are obvious issues with this site, but it's nothing that couldn't be rectified with a little ingenuity and elbow grease.

Point 2, I wouldn't say that I frequent the place as much as I just don't log off once I'm here. I came here today because someone showed me Luna's post and I realized that she was finally seeing this place for what it is.

Point 3, I wouldn't call my post 'bitching and griping'. I offered an opinion on the state of the site and a suggestion on how to rectify it. This site means nothing to me, but Luna is an intelligent, ambitious kid. I'd like to see her focus her ambition on something more meaningful. No, I don't personally know her, but you can see that she has the potential to do something...better.

I'm going to be brutally honest here. You know this site is shit, not the site itself, but the quality of the people who post. This place is nothing more than a hangout for internet badasses trying to prove to everyone, and themselves, how sociopathic they are. I would be utterly amazed if there were more than 2 or 3 actual sociopaths here. The rest are just children playing at being something that they're not. I'm not lumping everyone together, there are some decent folks here, but fighting through the mountains of garbage to get to the few decent posts is not worth the time or effort.

The best thing you could do is shut this site down, develop a new plan and re-open it WITH moderation and a vision that doesn't empower the idiots who just come here to troll and act like children. The nonsense that is spewed on this site already caused the site to be taken down once and probably will again. The sad thing is that the people here, for the most part, are proud of the way they behave and don't even realize that they look incredibly stupid to anyone with half a brain. Talking to some of these fools is like talking to a 5 year old kid, it's completely ridiculous.

You're a smart girl, Luna, can't spell for shit, but you're intelligent enough to see this site for what it is. Was this your vision when you started it? I doubt it was, so tear it down and start over, or just dump it and do something meaningful. One man's opinion, fwiw.

 All this, your little experiment/pet project whatever you want to call it has been a failure. When you openly say you aren't going to put any effort into it that is the point when you need to just shut it down. Keeping it up isn't doing anything for you nor is it doing anything for anyone else.

My advice is unless you are going to actually put effort into it, don't bother making another. It will suffer the same fate as this one.

I agree with a lot of what you said, but I must point out that if she wasn't trying to take the "lazy" route ("stealing" a place with a built in audience to build numbers to falsely advertise popularity to customers) then none of this would happen ("this" being the dealing with asshats). I think she should shut it down, and just stick to anything away from sociopathy. She isn't really educated on what one is, and it is not a positive label to have when it comes to business.

Luna, just shut it down and start over with it not relating to anything from here, or stick around but stay out of it other than changing the platforms, much like Micheal. I don't think you are cut out to banter, and it doesn't seem like you care to hear or even respond to what anyone has to say. What could you possibly be gaining in all of this anyhow?

 agree. it's just a meaningless place with about 10-15 no-life retards (called regulars). Needs new blood and brains and start anew,  i logon for about five minutes now and then, and do other things. i forget to logoff. seldom participate.  

I don't get why you people are bitching about this place. There are so many moderated, serious forums out there you can go to.

This place started off as an unmoderated community of people having fun. Luna saw in it some great potential, then became disappointed in it and acted on her disappointment.

Luna, if you ever decide to end this site, I respect that, you're paying for servers and whatnot. But make the old forum available for posting new threads again. Why did you even take that option away from us. That is not your forum, it has never been.

I usually agree with you on all points,  but perhaps not on this one.  I don't think there's such a thing as a shit site - unless the site has a real shitty agenda at its core (like stormfront or such) of course. By & large i find this place not too dissimilar to any other on the internet. 

It is what you make out of it. 

Each time the question's come up, only a few people here have actually admitted to believing they carry the "Sociopath" label.

Now as for the "Internet Badass" bit... there are quite a few squeaky wheels that make their presences known.

But then it'd become less unique. There's already multiple forums that cater to that.

This place is completely redundant. You're just pissed because you're idea's aren't appreciated here like you thought they'd be and your vision of an online community where people get together and contribute to the betterment of humanity hasn't worked out because it's a fucking internet forum not the UN. Close it down and send everyone packing to the old forum. That way you can continue to post whatever idiotic brain fart that pops into your stupid shit box head on there without having to pay for privilege of hearing how retarded you are or waist your time and resources on something pointless.
