Sociopath Community

I've been coming here a very long time. Not just to this forum, but long before there ever was one. And in all that time, and with all I've learned about PDs in general, I've known only a few who I am certain were diagnosed as ASPD. Also; in my own quiet observation- I feel I have only witnessed a few at this site. The rest, in my opinion- are either Borderline, Schizoid, Narcissists, Histrionic, or just a cocktail of all kinds of fun weirdness. 

Anyone who comes to this site and stays here for more than a year or two, and claims to be healthy or totally sane.... Just LOL! No freakin' way!

Any forum labelled "sociopath" anything or "ASPD" anything, will simply be code for "dysfunctional, emotionally disturbed and or void, arrogant and or egotistical, insensitive and offensive peoples forums"

They do visit from time to time, it is a good down time place. But in all realness I couldn't possibly know for sure unless I met these people. The only reason I came to the conclusion they could be is from their similarities in writing and activity. They troll, make valid points, are aggressive, and have a charm that is likeable even though in essence they are assholes. Even when they switch it up, their overall "character" is consistent.

Everyone that thinks they are a sociopath in here obviously is.

After all, everything on the net is "true" , and "as you think, therefore you are".

Its par for the course. 

I disagree.  We know who the real sociopaths are on here.

Luna I think has some kind of autism with NPD.

Both Lycan and Turncoat have things going on with them, but I don't think it is sociopathy.

I think TK is schizoid with antisocial traits and a severe empathy disorder. Possible sociopath.

The most likely sociopaths I think are Silkthread and Inquirer.

I also don't believe it's sociopathy. It seems many don't even pair ASPD with Schizophrenic symptoms, and I am inclined to believe that makes sense.

I was formerly post traumatic, but even with it gone it feels like I've become even more comparatively number... somehow.

Blunted Affect (as well as shallow) seems to make a lot more sense for my case. So, no, I'm not a sociopath, but it's an easy enough assumption for someone to make about me. My understanding of emotions is, for the most part, the product of observation and study, not experience.

I thought she posted a different disorder as her reasoning (unless it lead to that because of it or something).

It makes sense. RAD can mimic sociopathy.

Woa. I didn't see this. Where do you draw this theory about Inquirer and me?

you can get a general feeling, if you talk with someone for longer time. and i mean 1 on 1. then you poke that person in various ways. The time it takes to get a stable idea of what his mentality could be, depends on how honest this person is.

then you can compare your findings with the forum/other posters. then you check those people out and refine the pattern.

testing peoples boundaries in all direction is a good way to figure them out. and each time they get weird, poke them to see why and how they react. but first you need to understand their default state, in order to know when they are weird(aka weirder then their default state). this wont work every time and there are plenty of other problems, but its not impossible. just try and try till you get something interesting :P

this is all true, part of the "plenty of problems" i mentioned.
