DRUGSSDRUGSDRUGS!!!

by wahoo

What is your drug of choice?

Dimethyltryptamine (DMT)

(Side note to Tryptamine: Despite your username, I never even began to think you've tried this, maybe for reasons that are obvious)

How often do you do it?

Never tried it. Yet.

Should all drugs be freely available?

They kinda are. Things sometimes come at no cost. The reasons for outlawing anything, are things that would otherwise revoke industry of their power. Harmful drugs are in place to keep the ultimate drug at bay. And the ultimate drug, is the one that will open the users eyes to reality. It's funny how no one knows what drug this is, nor does anyone really talk about it, or even know about it.

Were opiates created by a divine entity to make us all happy?

All materials were created by a divine entity. The reasoning behind these are whatever we make of them, then to learn what they make of us.

Anywho...share your thoughts on drugs. What you like, why you like it, how often you do it, etc. Anything you wanna say about it will be interesting, I think.

Used to smoke weed all the time, and it wasn't that long ago I'd smoke it often, but now I don't feel like doing it anymore it seems. I actually like being sober. Unlike drugs, I don't see marijuana as a drug, but rather a medicine, while it offers us healing properties. Getting high off it it amplifies life's pleasures, it's a pleasure within itself, and it even serves as a crutch for the imagination.

LSD, I tried that, and by the 3rd time I've decided I didn't like it. It's not the kind of thing I've been seeking.

XTC, I've done more recently. It's not bad if one wants to really get into whatever it is they are doing. One can be very happy on this drug I find, but also if the person can become quite irritated granted they are exposed to thoughts or situations that regularly would leave a bad taste in the mouth. It's possible my experimenting with this one has lead me to find less pleasure in things I once enjoyed, but as suggested the time needed for the brain to repair itself seems to have finally completed itself, and I'm able to enjoy some activities I usually like. For instance, it's probably why I lost interest in coming here and haven't been around much since February. I also have people on my hands who are concerned about me not being myself this year.

Most drugs come at a price, and I'm not talking financially.

DMT ? This one deserves it's own thread based on the reports of those who've taken it, for the sake of speculation alone.

This one requires research to accompany curiosity, cause what you hear it did to others, it will do to you.

DRUGSSDRUGSDRUGS!!!

I had an addiction. Started with party drugs (early 90s), booze, pot, coke but then heroin. Long story short I'm off got off the drugs. I still drink alcohol and I'd smoke weed in the right circumstance. I have some pharms, but so far they make me sick so I don't use them.

Should all drugs be freely available?
As in legal? No, cause of the health care costs. I'm not paying for little tweekers to get better.

Richard Parker. Don't you know if drugs were legal, then the government wouldn't be spending never ending billions on a war on drugs that they never won and never will ?

In turn, when the economy is cheaper, the taxes should be lower too.

The Portuguese made drugs legal, and not only did the crime and casualties rate go down/less people being arrested, but the government ended up with a sweet surplus at the end of the year. Over there, if someone abuses drugs, then it's decided that they may have a problem.

I think in an economy where all consumables are legal, tobacco and alcohol would still have a socialized healthcare system pitching in more care toward those cases.

Hilarious movie.

Ever see the colorized version? They even colored the smoke they exhaled to reflect the state of mind they were entering.
