No. They were created by a divine entity to make us feel like divine entities for a short while.
by TryptamineFirst and foremost, our bodies are our own, as are our minds, and we should have the right to do with them as we please. If everything was legal, then perhaps people would be better educated about drugs. Not only that, but if they bought some drugs at a store, they could confidently know what they are getting is what it is claimed to be...many people have died because they were led to understand they bought one thing and got another. And finally, there would be substantially less bloodshed over distribution.
This ^^
by wahooSo...we're having a small opiate party on skype and it got me to thinking...
What is your drug of choice?
How often do you do it?
Should all drugs be freely available?
Were opiates created by a divine entity to make us all happy?
I love them, but I have to be very careful. I have a bit of an addictive personality. :)
Anywho...share your thoughts on drugs. What you like, why you like it, how often you do it, etc. Anything you wanna say about it will be interesting, I think.
Why am I not surprised to find this thread? Jason, did ya keep him out of trouble? I have not finished going through the forums yet to find any possible damage. . Drug of choice is hands down cocaine. I do not do it and have done done it since the late 90's with the exception of one slip. I was very addicted. I lived with a dealer, was stealing it from the safe every day and in retrospect I really do not know how I got clean. I did not have intervention or help. I woke up one morning and literally never went back to it with the exception of the slip which was a couple of months. After coke, shrooms and acid when they work are great, opiates as well. Weed I smoke daily. Opiates were created by a divine entity to make YOU happy lol
Drugs are great fun, but they are also an escape. I know I have and do use them in order to feel numb at times.
by whoameyeAmphetamines and opiates washed down with a flexeril. This combo kicks ass.
All opiates and amphetamines should be legal.
Weed makes me feel like shit.
Too bad about the weed. It helps me tremendously.

I also completely agree with this^

Word.
I don't really have a drug of choice. I haven't taken drugs enough to make such a complex decision! However, I love MDMA, I love shrooms (my advice: go the fuck to Amsterdam and buy them legitimately. Follow the instructions the store owner gives you, because they know what they're talking about! Too many people purchase shrooms in Australasia and then feel that they've been ripped off because they did things like eat right before consuming the shrooms or during the trip. And if things get a little weird for you, scull a liter of orange juice. That shit should help bring you down).
Ummmmmm.... I don't like alcohol, though I doctor shopped until I found someone who will prescribe me Valium every two weeks, which is basically just "hard alcohol" (I claimed I had Generalized Anxiety Disorder and I think I'll add a PTSD diagnosis the next time I have myself evaluated. Psychology was my major, after all!). I don't take Valium often - it's too addictive and I don't want to be fucking with my neurochemistry. So I'm the person you want to talk to if you want to buy Valium on the black market in my neighbourhood - my shelves are full of it. Not that I'm bragging.
I don't like marijuana either, though I suspect I've just had rubbish product. I've never experienced anything that regular users enjoy about it.
