Pills. Pills. Pills. Oh my God, pills!

Let's get some pills. Let's get some pills. Let's get some pills.

These pills rule, these pills suck, these pills rule, THESE PILLS SUCK!

It's a long story, Pink01. Anyway, I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me whether psychiatric drugs can really fuck someone up for life or not.

I wanna know if they cause irreversible brain damage.

This site says they do: http://www.sntp.net/

I wonder if there's any truth to the site's claims. They seems frighteningly credible to me.

I've heard interesting things about psychedelic mushrooms.

The human brain is an incredibly complex organ, with very wide variation in structure and function between persons. Some people do not feel psychologically fine because their neurochemistry causes them to be that way, and for them pharmaceuticals are a godsend. But I also believe that psychiatric drugs are over-prescribed. Depression for instance is more often a result of psycho-social issues than a "chemical imbalance." Psychiatry is a useful tool which is too often applied incorrectly.

The brains of bipolars are different. It has a genetic component. They say the same about borderlines/sociopaths.

I am wondering if borderlines and sociopaths are sort of the same thing. Just different degrees on a spectrum.

They are both said to be devoid of emotional empathy. However, borderlines have strong emotions whereas sociopaths lack emotion. They could be on a spectrum of lack of empathy, but I don't think the neurologies of those two groups would be on a spectrum. I can't say for sure because I haven't read any research papers on the brains of borderlines, but I do know that the psychopathic brain has a very specific pattern of development which ranges in degrees of structural differences from normal to "high-functioning" to "low-functioning."

I don't know. I just know I can't tell them apart.

One gets anxious about things, the other doesn't.
