 Yea I would have that too had i read the threads here from cover to cover - which i never do, just glimpse thru a few sentences (which is usually enough).  Not to single out this site tho, most others aren't any better (nor much worse) in this respect.  

It's not the subject matter but the quality of the discourse what determines its value.  You won't have a quality discussion with mediocre intellects,  regardless however lofty the topic at hand aims to be.

Or, as the saying goes, smart can play stupid but stupid can't play smart. 

That said, I'm not here for intellectual pursuits, but for arsing about. Horses for courses.   My intellectual pursuits ley elsewhere (off-line - even tho they occasionally overlap with online venues), and I'm not here to work.

Don't know how it goes for the rest of you.
