I wasn't whining. I was stating facts.

And you cited examples of middle class males who got rich and/or famous on a thread knocking male privilege.

Give me 20 poor women who got rich and/or famous without fucking for it or getting paid to be pretty.

Can you think of 20 women who did what Oprah Winfrey did off the top of your head?

Don't you think that objectification goes way beyond sex? In fact... who gives a fuck about the sex part. From generation x down, most peeps only understand mutual masturbation anyway. And that goes for both male and female. Objectification is basically taking a human being, and turning them into a tool for you to use in any way you see fit. They no longer have rights, needs of their own, or value past how they can meet your needs.

It may still happen to women more often than men, because in my opinion- young women still take to the role of people pleaser, more readily than men... and base their value too much on how they are seen by their lovers. Yet, I think the gap is beginning to close some. And eventually, it will be more every man/woman for him/herself, than equality for all. :D

Hilary and Drew inherited money. Nicole is hot.

Whoopi... yes she was a junkie whore. I'll take her bc I respect that she came clean. That shit is something to kick. I admire her drive.

Yes, Ellen. I can't remember Martha's SES... hang on. I'll google it.

We only have Ellen and Whoopi right now.

*Edit: Martha was a model when she was young. She doesn't count, either.

I gave you an example of success of a black man growing up in the Bronx. And you want me to give you twenty examples of poor women growing famous from poverty?

@silkthread... yeah true... good sex is rare... and intimacy is even rarer... in fact, I've never had "intimacy" as far as I can see it... you know, intimate sex... never... people use each other... very true... it's either tense awkward sex, or meat grinding good sex, but never tense intmate good sex, or meat grinding intimate sex... I will die knowing I have missed the best sex possibilities...

although I did go into a psychosis that lasted a few months straight and tried tantric with somebody I imagined I was having a relationship with... I ejaculated twice with no masterbation... well... blanks, but yeah, that was pretty good...

I think we are all psychopathic masterbaters

Yep. The thread is about objectifying women. And President O grew up in Hawaii, not the Bronx :P

My comments were about how society's objectification of women too frequently hinders the best efforts of those women who refuse to be objectified, regardless of what skills, talent or intellect they possess.

Therefore, arguing about the success of a bunch of middle class white dudes ain't gonna cut it. I want you to cite examples of women who did not inherit or fuck for their success. Give me 20 average looking women who got paid for being intelligent and/or talented. Just like men do.

So far we have Oprah and Ellen... and sort of Whoopi.

Mark whalberg... he grew up in a nasty new york sub urb, and made his way to the top mainly because he was sexy...

I bet back in the 1920s and 1930s more men made it famous because they were sex object sports stars, than anything else...
