Uhhh women get more pleasure by clit stimulation, don't they?
If that was in response to my posts, err I guess so, but what does that have anything to do with what I said? I was analyzing women from the perspective of men, not the other way around.
Anyway, I found a poser saying a few pages ago there is no "free will", but guess what: there is also no "unfree will". Can somebody explain to me how this is possible? :)
Women are generally judged more harshly on their appearance than men, but I think objectification is something everyone does.
Herr Starr once said something like: "shoot the female militia first. They have had to work twice as hard as their male comrades for the same respect in the group. They are therefore faster, smarter, and more deadly than the men. Shoot the women first." Which just goes to show that there are plenty of ways to look at the fight for gender equality. Context is everything.
I was wondering why that picture was in my tabs when I woke up. I was drunk and none serious by that point, and was simply having fun. But anyway Xena, I'm not going to compose a list of 20 successful women for you so you can use it on your feminist forums.
Edit: Reading through, it looks like someone has already done that though.
by EtzelThis thread may as well have been named "Objectification of Objects". For christsake, objects are supposed to be "objectified". The "problem" here is not women being regarded as objects, because they clearly ARE objects. The problem is that this thread's title is a banal tautology. Yes, women can be looked upon as objects, but so can everything — so what's your problem dude?
Exactly... even a hollywood psychopath wants to know what is going on in the inside. There is no objectification. All of the porno movies focus on the female face, and behavior, there isn't that much that is object only about the whole ordeal. The most famous women based on their looks are known for thier roles in movies, which is personality and artistic skill. The same can be said about male movie actors.
Everything is an object.
Some people objectify other people sure, but on the whole, the majority does not. They look at what is on the surface to immediately determine what is on the inside.
People categorize. Everything is an object.
Still motion photography has it's limits. It's very nature is to take a moving object and transform it into something we more readily identify as an "object".
People have issues with themselves, as they cannot escape mainstream culture no matter how hard they try.
They are lost and will forever be in praise of the same social institutions that cause them so much distorted view and pain. They will on the whole never learn to love themselves, or be themselves, sure they will search for what individuality means to them and they will pluck that "objectified" individualism right from the mainstream, essentially objectifying or categorizing themselves even further.
Anyways, the next generation coming up has a little more choice with social medias, but if you ask me, trends are equally as fast via word of mouth in social medias, just as they can be in some regards when rebroadcasted over major television stations.
I just can't understand why some women shrink and/or attack the gift that is their body when there is so much power in it.
& @averyhotactress (only read up to page 4)...Why is having to prove yourself BEYOND what you are naturally appreciated for even something to complain about? I can't relate as to why women think it's bad to automatically be given an advantage. & Everyone has to prove they're talented/gifted/knowledgeable in some area if they want to be appreciated for it (and especially if they already are appreciated in some other area--whether said other area is having tits, or a million other things). It's no easier for men to prove their worth to the world with things of the mind. If you can't find success with finding appreciation it's likely your skill level or how you're presenting yourself that is the cause--instead of working against men drooling over your body. The only time I've found myself incapable of being something beyond my appearance, is when that is what I wanted or if I was untalented/ignorant/stupid about whatever that community/setting dealt with.
It's probably attacks made by other people that really shut them down.
People as a whole, all the demographics look down and shame women for being sexually sensual, or sexually explicit. The sensual thing is flying way under the radar in recent years, and that is truly advancing womens lib, if that's the correct term. Only my opinion.
Nudity though, it's the underdog... even though porno reigns supreme across the web. You cannot have a guy that objectifies women and then look that same women in the eyes with the same level of human political equality. Only my opinion. It's possible, and there are plenty of guys that are okay with that stuff, but it teeters between slut worshiping, or shaming and it doesn't have to boil down to nudity. It can simply be the way a woman carries herself, dresses and acts.
That's probably the true reason while sterile women lead the way in media. Although, they obviously spend crazy amounts of time and effort doing everything they can to make them-self attractive, it is majorly non-sexual in major media. News anchors, hosts, and so on...
Common ground or equality isn't there with the majority, and the minority is probably smaller than people think... only my opinion...
Not entirely true. The G-Spot provides immense sexual pleasure, but it's more difficult to find than that clitoris, so many women experience clitoral stimulation more often than stimulation of the G-Spot.
The clitoris does, however, have more nerve endings than the entire penis, so the jury is still out.
