But wouldn't the world be better if everyone shared their ideas equally? If everyone had the same education? Everyone would contribute to society.
Its the best thing ever :)

In the 'developed' world, basic education is not only free but compulsory.
How many avail of it, exactly?? Most finish school as practically illiterate.
Even though the curriculum is ridiculously dumbed down, it's still lightyears above the intelligence level of society-at-large.
Ignorance is a personal lifestyle choice in the 'western' world.
by Michael PreyThere are no subhumans, but there's certainly a class of people who are in pretty bad situations. They're still humans and deserve as much dignity as any other. There won't be any early solutions unfortunately. Maybe it'll come in two centuries.
why will it take 2 centuries?
These are much more preferable to the other hypocrites, and I myself am sometimes one of these. But one must always be careful not to do it habitually to the point it becomes unconscious. Hypocrisy is a deeply reactive process, it is essentially the shaping and molding of oneself according to the expectations and preconceptions of others. Occasionally it might come in handy, as some sort of manipulation, of violence, of getting what one wants when there's no more direct path; but lying for extended periods of time can even become physically exhausting to the liar and this is perhaps why philosophers have always been friends of their solitude.
