Long-Term Effects and Bad Trips

Pyroluria is effectively a disorder marked by excessive creation of kryptopyrroles, which bind to B6 and Zinc. It can manifest in symptoms that range even from depression to schizophrenia as long as the body is not cared for properly under these natural predisposed conditions. Until two years ago or so, I had no idea what it was, so I was effectively a Paranoid Schizophrenic up until that point. My finding Zinc helped me was a complete coincidence, as I had only added it to my diet from noticing my diet lacked it entirely thanks to Calorie Count. I was actually trying it for it's theorized role in stress reduction, plus I enjoy experimenting on myself in minor, safe ways like that.

Here's a super layman's webpage on it. I've also quoted my disorders a few times from an older post.

"Most people underestimate it and regular smokers like to pretend hallucinating on it is a myth."

I guess I do too. If anything, it helped them go away for me.

"I also think if you have a very visual imagination or thought process and dream vividly you might be more susceptible."

Strangely, since taking Zinc, my imagination's become slightly less vivid, and my dreams are less memorable.

I had my roommates try it so I could study the results in other people. One of them became creeped out over how he couldn't dip into his daydreaming ability for that day.

"Can you picture things in your head to a great level of detail? What about photographic memory? Can you remember maps or large bodies of text as an image?"

My memory tends to cling to aspects or portions of things as opposed to the whole of it. The internet is very helpful for filling in those blanks. I am also very prone to memory being jogged.

I'm a bit scatterbrained if I don't keep a lot of reference.

I'm the opposite. I don't even need to keep notes in class, I can recall pretty much everything that has been said. I'm better at remembering things that have been said than things that I've seen, but my visual memory is still pretty good.

I also have great spatial coordination and orientation. I never get lost in a city, even if it's new to me.

In my experience most smokers will deny it, but if you press them hard enough they'll admit it eventually. I think people try to play down the effects of cannabis because they want to rail against the stigma of it being one of the least powerful/dangerous drugs.
