Long-Term Effects and Bad Trips

Have any of you, who have taken drugs for an extended period of time, noticed any physical or psychological changes due to your addiction? If yes, explain.

Ever had a bad trip or negative experience from taking drugs that you can tell us about?

I've never taken any major hallucinogen, but I think cannabis has left me with permanent anxiety.  I've also, maybe 20 times, eaten morning glory seeds, but not enough to produce a full on trip, or any major effects at all to be honest, just a feeling of weirdness. I also have a strongly visual imagination/tendency to daydream and I lucid dream constantly and involuntarily. I think I might have this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hallucinogen_persisting_perception_disorder

I see a lot of visual snow, after images last a long time, specs of light and particles in the dark, objects breathing or wobbling and colours change if I look at them for long enough. It's also severely aggravated by cannabis and sleep deprivation. If I'm really stoned I see very slight peripheral hallucinations, like small spots that move like insects. I used to get panic attacks all the time but they've faded a lot.

I dunno, maybe everyone gets this when their tired and stoned, but I'm a hypochondriac so maybe I'm more aware of it.

If I look at a solid colour for long enough it turns into this:

I didn't know visual snow was a thing. I thought it just happened to everybody.

Long term effects on the mind and body? Oh yeah, things like extra irritability/anger, constant state of paranoia and confusion, anxiety attacks, hallucinations, stomach bleeding, nausea, itching. Good times!  Today, I feel like my memory has been effected by drugs. I have to write things down or I forget.

Why do you ask? Have you been feeling delusional lately? ;)

 Nope. I'm just curious.

Being around bright light too long can make my vision become sort of like that alongside things becoming somewhat more colorless. It's as if the world was slowly regressing into television static, except somewhat blurry instead of sharp and grainy.

Have you used/do you use hallucinogenics?

If you see marijuana as a hallucinogen, I was really into it in college. If you count Ecstasy as one, I've done that one before as well.

Otherwise, I've tried shrooms. I tend to be a little too lucid when I do drugs, and that time was (sadly) not an exception. I got to watch those I was with trip balls while I fell into a pseudo-babysitter role.

The fuzzy vision was before any experience with drugs however. I have certain aspects of light sensitivity that I'd imagine is responsible for it instead.

I also have Pyroluria, which prior to treating myself with Zinc had me hallucinate naturally. Pretty sure this isn't related however.
