"People who've had the same account for a very long time do so because they feel connections to people on here and they want to be easily recognised by other people."
I just don't see why it'd be seen as preferable to have a different name when deciding to laugh at someone. It takes a few needless extra steps to swap between names, and a puppet laughing at someone is flavorless and easy to brush aside, while someone with a bit more of a "reputation" who mocks someone is bound to actually have some weight based on past context (whether that weight makes them considered more credible or not). It only makes sense to make a puppet if users have no reason to take your main account seriously (and you care about that), the puppet account was made in the name of parody or sarcasm, or if you aim to unearth something out of a user your main account might fail at succeeding to do, otherwise it feels like a waste of time.
So, the recognition part isn't wrong anyway. Connections though, that varies.
"These people do not have aspd and most likely found this place because they got the disorder mixed up with the disorder they actually do have."
At least this part fits my case accurately.
"People who chop and change accounts, most likely do have aspd because they don't give a fuck about connecting with others because their sole purpose here is often to make fun of the above."
Wilful and Dexter must be the king and queen of the Sociopathy then.
"The latter are here for kicks and have great social lives, whereas the former are just internet basement dwelling loners who want online friends."
Aaaand here's the obvious "Come at be bro" line~
Playing pranks can be alot of effort, in many cases the joy that one gets from them often makes them worth it... besides it is in line with sociopathy... the concept of wearing many masks... The funny thing here is, I have puppets going that no one would ever think to link together... and people still cought up trying to link me to accounts that have nothing to do with me... it's priceless...
