Sociopath Community

Too much empathy required for this post.

I don't have abandonment issues. My father almost kicked me out of the house as a teenager for knocking my brother's tooth out. I'd be pissed if he did but not tragically hurt. 

My father killed himself when I was a toddler and I was basically kicked out of home at 17.

I don't have any abandonment issues though because I have no problem getting rid of people once they're of no more use to me.

I will never leave you.

My father attempted suicide in front of me when I was younger. I was anywhere from 9-12. He swallowed a bottle of pills and I watched him from a corner.

I remember thinking to myself if he dies my mother will never be able to take care of us. Because she is absolutely incompetent. This is all that

hmm, father killing himself and another attempting to while you guys were kids and you seriously try to assert it didn't leave any abandonment issues ??    Denial is the longest river is Africa people ...

you can borrow it but you have to give it back, and i charge rent for it !

I'm just saying it seems a stretch for people to describe these childhood traumas and then assert that it had no affect on their psyche at all ....     It seems a lot of sociopaths had a really fucked childhood when you consider the hardwiring vs environment factors 

I'm detached from my emotions. I really see my father's attempted suicide and everything else as no big deal because I don't remember my emotions.

I'm no sociopath though.
