Hard to flee Australia without a passport... Long way to paddle a boat.

 

I'd happily go bush with a few horses. Big country with ALOT of open space.

 

Personally - I'd really rather not draw the kind of attention that means I need to run. I am quite comfortable

Well, the results of this hypothetical suggest the best method would be to go to ground in the country. That's what I would do too.

If your passport's no good, I'd assume the latter.

It depends on what countries you are fleeing to/from and whether they have extradition treaties or not. Also, some countries have it in their constitution that a citizen cannot be extradited.

I'm reading up on the extradition treaty now, and I think it may provide a plausible escape, even if I can't stay in Ireland forever.
