What if most of the population were sociopaths. Empaths are the minority, but everyone just pretends to be one. I have alot of time to think, and my mind wanders alot, plus I'm high half the time. lol I know this is just the MANY stupid thoughts from my fucked-up mind, but what if it was true?
I'd think if the majority of people were socio/psychopaths, no one would pretend to be an empath. Empaths would probably all kill themselves or go downhill another way because the sharpness of everyone else would be too much. Not to mention they wouldn't be able to pretend to not have empathy, unlike how socio/psychopaths can pretend they do.
While I do believe we are the more intelligent, evolved kind of people, the world, I assume, would go back to a somewhat primitive state, as everyone would be fighting for power and dominance (people do that now but it's a lot more masked and hidden).

People that lack empathy aren't more intelligent nor are they more evolved. Empathy is a part of what makes a species successful. The ability to be able to care and empathize has evolutionary benefits to survival.

You say empathy makes a species successful, yet the vast majority of successful people lack it. Delusional maybe?
And too stupid to learn? Yes, empathy is a learned behaviour, but one people pick up in even a neutrally empathetic environment, meaning the environment itself in which a sociopath was brought up in was void of empathy.
The only way people could be in a loving environment and all and still not have learned empathy is not stupidity, it's a condition, like Asperger's or autism.
Question for you, if sociopaths are 'just too stupid', then why is it so darn easy to fool you lot?
Are they successful though? Is someone money rich successful for the entire species? No they are successful for themselves. Hence why this would get weeded out..
I think empathy is apart of intelligent. Therefore if you lack empathy part of your intelligence is lacking IMO. That doesn't make a person completely stupid...
By successful I mean power. And yes that comes with money, too.
Half of our world's leaders are sociopaths, so no, they wouldn't get weeded out at all. They're not just successful for themselves either.
