It just seems like you cling to your diagnosis to justify your existence. By all means, do what you want. It's not my concern at all. I just cringe when I see someone explain something by saying it's what's expected of their diagnosis. Personal taste and all that.

Why do you insist that I'm clinging to my diagnosis. You asked a question and I simply answered it. Do you think I'm only giving the response that would be expected of someone with AsPD?
If that is what you think then don't bother asking me anymore questions, because if you can't accept that what I'm telling you is my own genuine opinion, then you can go fuck yourself.
by SyntheticWhy isn't a tendency to achieve a negative result a weakness?
Because a negative result doesn't necessarily equal weakness. A negative result can be something that one can learn from, unless it kills them of course.
I don't see anything I do as wrong, so why would I call anything I do a weakness.
by SyntheticBecause you're either unable or unwilling to achieve a positive result. I'm not talking about morals. I'm talking about results.
The negative result comes from a lack of caring, not weakness.
I am capable of not being self-destructive, just as I am capable of being more responsible than I currently am, but because I don't care much about the consequences or usually don't give them much thought, I choose to continue doing what I'm doing.
