These Humans don't have the typical life goal of getting married, a pet, and raising a family.

Those are not life goals (at least not for us normals), but things what happen to one, and one takes them in one's stride - as a course of nature / gift of nature / curse of nature, depending on one's general disposition.

Some of us want to accomplish something very large

Ditto. If it's a "goal" and a "want", better you forget it to begin with. If you have it in you, then you accomplish it without even looking, let alone striving.

Sounds like you fell victim for some low-brow motivational marketing agenda at a tender young age, Luna.

"Capitalism is a law of the universe."
The universe? Care to elaborate how those values go beyond human-kind?

"I think it's feasable. If asteroid mining were successful, the market could be flooded with material resources that could lower the costs of production of a house, or space ship for that matter.. for pennies."
Still need to pay for fuel, labor, tools, licenses, you name it, they'll find a market for it that will keep prices higher. Things only become cheap when anyone can do it, when the price is mere convenience, alongside when the materials required are even cheaper.

"Renewable energy Electricity grids could be used to provide free, automated transportation throughout a city, and housing could become something so abundant, that home ownership no longer becomes neccary."
But how would that help business tycoons turn a profit? Ever hear about the past drama that came up related to the release of the Electric Car? It's the perfect model that shows how business can aim to sabotage people for their own short-sighted gains.

"Food production isn't a big deal. That's simply a question of converting the sun's energy into an edible food. Water is the same."
It also requires time and land space for food, and water requires being cleaned to even be potable.

People are in no hurry to fund space programs because of the problems that exist in the here and now, so to get people gung ho about space travel, you'd need to find a way to appeal to them with results that aren't theoretical. The risk of flying into space and finding nothing we can use is enough to have people keep their eyes on planet Earth, the "sure thing" we already know exists with systems in place that can be used.

"With the framework of Capitalism, the ingenuity and passion of Humanity , and power of technology, the world problems can be fixed."
The problems related to Capitalism come from what those with money do with it alongside how they keep the cash flowing. People cannot be trusted with that much power, so a system that regulates said power would be the best way to keep them in check.

Good luck with that actually making a dent however, as there's always tricks to get around limitations if you can pay that workaround's price.

"The moon, and it's low gravity envrionment would be a requirement as a base for an asteroid mining operation, and that is the first step in Humanity's gaining an abundance of resources... which will shift demand to the Human mind."
What is there worth mining from the moon, and would this carry other risks down the line?

Flaw analysis is a valuable tool for achieving your goals if you ask me. Taking the points people say and appropriating them into something you can use will yield a better product than raw conviction. It's not as black and white as agree/disagree, it's pointing out another perspective that could very well strengthen your own if used properly.

Using myself as an example, I tend to ignore the emotional content of a situation, and sometimes I need to be either shown or reminded how something I'm saying or doing is cruel or missing factors. That extra boost makes my perspective that much more well rounded and capable of accounting for variables I hadn't even ventured than if I carried a me vs the world view.

"There's already enough food produced per year for every living person to have 3000calories per day everyday with margins for production side waste on top of that (This is an actual statistic, I'm not just making it up). But the reason people are starving is because they can't afford food, not because it's not directly available to them. This is at the fault of capitalism. "

True, but would you want to live in that world really? Setting everyone at the same level would lower the luxuries of life we 1st world countries have grown accustomed to. I think most people would change their minds if they saw what exactly they would lose from this.

It is unfortunate that there is child prostitution rings and slave workers, but I didn't choose how this world governs success and power. There has always been a food chain and there always will be, conflict between those who have and those who don't will always exist. Capitalism works so well because it bases itself off of natural, greedy human nature. We'll never get to the point of solving world hunger and it's not necessarily our fault. It's what's been built into everything that has ever come to exist on this planet, conflict. Conflict Theory is a huge theme in sociology.

Think about how much capitalism fits in with natural selection and social darwinism

And 3,000 calories a day? Link please.

Edit: " concentrate on defining/refining what it is you truly believe about what it means to be human. "                    Just completely forget about the countless wars and murders since biblical times in the fight for superiority over one another.

From what I see, the dreamers are the ones who create this group-thought, presumably for more profit and/or legislative power, but what I don't see is any entrepreneurs epic dreams being made into reality outside of just getting more money and power.

What do you think is the real goal? Something mystical? It seems like they are satisfying very base needs of their own, to me.

Also, what do you think of the people who choose not to perpetuate your dream platform made of sub-human labor and consumption, Luna? People who make money in illegal ways, for example. Are they dreamers, or are they less-than-human to you?
