I can't really speak for ASPD, but in my own case as someone who lacks affective empathy, I manipulated others to understand emotions better for myself. I couldn't feel it like they did, so I had to understand why they felt it like they did, even if it made some feel like shit in my quest for understanding.

This technically trained my sense of cognitive empathy. I'd argue that if you're debating over this "heightened sense of empathy" claim, the question ought to be "which one?".

I was watching the news one night and they were talking about a husband and wife that were killed during a break in. The person I was with, kept saying Oh my god, Oh my god,  that is terrible. I asked her what she was thinking when she was watching the news. She went on to tell me about how she felt bad for there children and the rest of there family. I din't say anything to her, but I wanted to say. Why in the fuck do you care about a bunch of people you dont even know? That dosen't make any kind of sense to me.

Whenever I hear or see people react to things like death it makes me question myself is it me that is fucked up or is it them, are they just to sensitive.

Technically their grieving is a normal, healthy response, as bottling leads to bigger issues down the road. It's unnatural to not care, be it the product of a life that has left you jaded or another reason.

Funerals are awkward.

The first and last funeral I went to was a grandparent, when I was probablly 11 or12. I remember sitting next to my cousins on the pews and hearing everyone sniffling and crying, so I started to make sniffling noises so I didnt stand out. That was my first memory of pretending to be someone that I wasn't.

My first funeral was for my grandmother. I'd just met her during a point in my life and she was very kind to me. Then she died.

I didn't cry because of her death, I cried because I suddenly learned of the temporary nature of life. It was too much of a revelation for me to process at that age (five), a time where I prior felt effectively invincible. It took sleepless nights of not avoiding thinking about it to get past it.

I think your brain at that age was to advanced for a child with very little life experiences.

Insomnia gave me a lot of time to think and do things, and the folks never tried to stifle my developments. They'd answer every question I had, or show me the value of looking up the answers myself. Once the internet came along I was practically pre-addicted to it.

My school during that time required us to study scripts, learn songs, rehearse dances, learn many facets of acting, all while staying two grade levels ahead of normal schools. We left school at 5:30, and would spend the night doing more school work (if not do after school rehersals, or shows). We were pretty much programmed to "be advanced". Those who couldn't keep up left.

Don't flatter yourself. I'm very direct. If I wanted any part of you, you'd know.

Learn to read. I said I have never been able to feel the emotions of others. Cognitive and affective empathy are different constructs. Manipulative charm and persuasion come from understanding people's hidden motivations, and adapting one's behavior to suit them. Mirroring someone is an especially effective means through which to achieve this, but it does not necessarily imply that one possesses the capacity to experience their feelings. Glibness is an extension of a propensity for deception, as well as a reflection of verbal acumen, which is not restricted to psychopathy.

So you have pronounced affective empathy, then, yeah?

As to you not being able to feel emotions that is indicative of Autism, Not psychopathy.

I had to laugh at this and your previous posts.

I'm going to assume you're a very emotional guy, who experiences affective empathy quite regularly.

So much for you being a psychopath, Daddy.
