It's actually might be true that the government makes deals with foreign beings (outside of our solar system) so the extraterrestrials get access to humans whenever they want in exchange for their important advanced knowledge, tools, etc. which is what causes many to go missing without an explanation if you think about it. aliens give a glimpse of their secrets, and the government sacrifices our bodies (to experiment) and even our souls, so they can feed off our energy
I imagine that he's just gotten his cock caught in some inanimate object and is unable to reach his computer. When he frees himself, I'm sure he'll be back.
On a related note, I don't think that TK is dead, either. I think that she probably tripped over one of her cables and is currently choking on a spoonful of frosting. If she manages to roll over and spit the spoon out we'll probably see her back here again soon, too.
