What is it with guys using the word 'daddy' in relation to sex?

Do you like to imagine her as your daughter while you're fucking her?

I'm genuinely curious.

you can call yourself the king all you want, but if nobody else calls you it you're still just plain ol' Phil.....

So, what you're saying is, being called 'daddy' during a sexual encounter with a woman has no specific meaning to you. It's just a title or nickname. Fair enough.

I still think there's gotta be something about being called 'daddy' that turns you on, other than it just being a nickname.

In a family the father is associated with the authority figure, the strongest member, the provider etc. If that Freud thing has any real bases, the man tries to replace the father figure, and the daughter wants to bang her father. Hence the daddy thing.

I really dislike the "daddy" role play to be honest, so it doesn't work for everyone.
