A reliable source has told me that this site is being monitored by a person that shall not be named but you should all be wary of, as the person is an informer.

Everything you post on this website, whether it be a thread, comment or something in the chat, is being recorded.

This is a warning.

Sounds mysterious.

I'm not sure that's legal because we are:

1.not terrorist

2.not conspiring to commit a crime

3.living in different countries so different jurisdictions apply.

So there's no probable cause to record anything and would it be admissible in a court of law in a worst case scenario anyway?

(I don't know I'm not a lawyer).

1. That's a very flexible term and with the new patriot act if your an American, your rights are not what they used to be and if you're not American, you are even more suitable for surveillance and sense this is technically open source, the laws are even looser, which means it wouldn't technically be spying since this is an open forum.

2. Not currently conspiring does not mean you don't have intent to eventually do so. In a forum with a bunch of delinquents it could be justified that this is a hotbed for potential terrorist/criminal activity.

3. Living in different counties still doesn't matter as anything available on open internet is not a violation of privacy if viewed. Furthermore, being a citizen of other counties means that whatever country you're not from you can legally (with in the confines of most foreign counties) have your information collected.

Oh sure enough what we're saying is in the public domain since it's a public forum so technically there's nothing to surveil since anybody can read any thread.

But would it be admissible as evidence against someone?

In the US I guess it would because I remember criminal cases like the Caylee Anthony case where they introduced a google search (about how to make chloroform) as evidence.

I suppose that the location of the servers hosting this forum determines which jurisdiction applies over this forum.
