I wish i could love her. Like the way my mom did me. But i lack the give a fuck i would need.

You clearly don't or you wouldn't wish you could love her. Something is holding you back from loving her and it's not lack of caring, because you obviously do care.

i live with a lady who has kids they are all grown and out of the hose, she would give her life for any one of her kids. And it is that wich troubles me the most, i dont understand it but yet i wish i could feal that greatley about someone else. That is what bugs me the most about my daughter. Why cant or why dont i feel the same way. If she never asked anything of me i think i could be a father in some fashion. I never realy thought of it much tell i met this mom. Its weird im still trying to wrap my head around it

how did your mom love you?

She didn't ask you for anything when she was an infant yet you claim to have left her in a bathtub to suffocate. 

I was 20 at that time, now im early 40's Im still the same in some ways. And with my daughter being a adult i wouldnt have the responsability i would have then. And i didnt sufacate her i just muffled her crying. But if i wouldnt have left it would have turned out bad

My mother put a pillow over my daughter's face to stop her from crying once. She didn't leave it on her long, but I was pissed when I found out about it from my sister, who was in the room at the time.

I remember when I was little, my mother picked up my brother, who was throwing a tantrum at the time and literally threw him onto the bed. She used to get so angry.

She was always there for me even when i was in trouble. She helped keep me out of prison. 

Oh sure you didn't suffocate her, you just put her in a tub with blankets covering her so her cries wouldn't be heard. Blankets. Covering a baby.
