I want a big castle :)
Six years is an oddly specific amount of time.
by Thrill KillIn 6 years from now or less, I'm hoping to go to the US, and spend some time traveling around. Once my daughter leaves home, I'll be in a much better position to do that, assuming I keep getting the money I'm getting now.
Why not just kick her out?

I'm going to assume that question was to the OP who had that specific time frame in mind when asking her question.

I'm still getting money for her at the moment.
I'm not just going to kick her out when I stop getting money for her either because she may be useful to me in the future at some point.
I'll encouraging her to leave home when she's older and more capable of looking after herself.

Of course she'll be useful in the future if only to take care of you when you're old (retirement homes suck).
I'd like to move abroad and I've been planning on doing that for some time so in 6 years I hope I'll be well established in my new life. For me moving abroad would go hand in hand with reinventing myself (I mean everything:name, personality, etc) because I'm bored with who and where I am now.
