Update: Registration

Tonight's update consists of a registration filter.

 Users attempting to register a new account under either of the following conditions will require administrative approval:

  1. When the user is using Tor.
  2. When the user is associated with another account that is currently administratively muted.

Please let us know how things are in the aftermath of this, including any bugs and feedback.

Note: While this may likely be a permanent change, we're also seeing if this improves matters satisfactorily without harming the community too much.

Especially anyone who is in a country that blocks internet where piratebrowser or anything else was the only way to access the site
