I asked Luna. Her logic is different from yours, she wants the best for humanity and stuff.
Make our relationship (whether friendly, familial, or acquaintancely, etc...) reciprocally beneficial, and you'll find me to be the most giving, generous, helpful person you've ever met. If you have my back I'll have yours.
That's my morality. It says nothing about the value of human life though.
by SystematicI see value in random people, most of the people I do know are disgusting and full of bullshit.
I guess I give reasonable doubt when it comes to strangers. I haven't seen what choices they've made, so I can't judge.
You value people based on their honesty and personal choices, not their usefulness?
Liars and idiots can be manipulated and taken advantage of.
by Luna PreyMy wanting the best for Humanity is more on a logical level.
My wanting the best for those I know... that's a less evolved level. Emotion you could say.
Weather we choose to base our decisions on our emotions or not is up to us... I think
People who base their decisions on their emotions instead of logic are far more likely to make irrational ones.
We've already seen that happen with you in the past here, Luna.
I decided a long time ago that I didn't want to be a slave to society.
I haven't done a days work (aside from raising and educating my daughter, and doing regular chores around the house) for the last 18 years. Yet, amazingly enough, I have no outstanding debts and own everything I have outright except for one thing.
It seems to me that my logic has been working out well for me so far.
